estrutura fora da costa, métodos para energizar uma estrutura fora da costa e para iniciar um compressor usando uma estrutura fora da costa. a presente invenção fornece uma estrutura fora da costa (1) e métodos para energizar e usar dita estrutura, a estrutura fora da costa (1) compreendendo pelo menos: (i) um sistema de energia essencial (eps) (100) compreendendo pelo menos um gerador elétrico de eps (110) eletricamente conectado a um sistema de distribuição do eps (130), dito sistema de distribuição eps (130) conectado eletricamente a pelo menos um consumidor eps (150); e (ii) um sistema de energia de instalação (pps) (200) compreende pelo menos um gerador elétrico do pps (210) eletricamente conectado a um sistema de distribuição de pps (230) eletricamente conectado a pelo menos um consumidor do pps (250), em que dito sistema de energia essencia (100) é eletricamente segregado a partir do sistema de energia de instalação.
