Abstract

O presente pedido de patente de Privilégio de Invenção, é caracterizado essencialmente por um equipamento de proteção coletiva na área de saúde (EPC: Equipamento de proteção coletiva), cuja função consiste na proteção anti aerossóis produzidos pelo profissional, assistentes e paciente durante atendimento; é composto por: uma estrutura principal (1.1), em formato semi retangular em alumínio, aço inox ou aço carbono pintado com tinta epóxi ou pintura eletrostática, contendo no seu centro um material transparente (1.2) que forma uma barreira de proteção entre o paciente e o profissional da saúde; o protetor odontológico (1) será utilizado com a função de criar uma barreira física entre o profissional de saúde que precisa trabalhar com uma proximidade muito grande do paciente, esta barreira protege os profissionais e assistentes, bem como o paciente, de aerossóis produzidos pela respiração normal, gotículas de saliva durante a fala e secreções proveniente de espirros e/ou tosse.

The present patent application for the Privilege of Invention is essentially characterized by collective protection equipment in the health area (EPC: collective protection equipment), whose function is to protect against aerosols produced by the professional, assistants and patient during care; consists of: a main structure (1.1), in semi-rectangular shape in aluminum, stainless steel or carbon steel painted with epoxy paint or electrostatic paint, containing in its center a transparent material (1.2) that forms a protective barrier between the patient and the health professional; the dental protector (1) will be used with the function of creating a physical barrier between the health professional who needs to work very close to the patient, this barrier protects professionals and assistants, as well as the patient, from aerosols produced by breathing normal, droplets of saliva during speech and secretions from sneezing and/or coughing.

DENTAL PROTECTION

APPLICATION FIELD:

O referido equipamento, cuja proteção será reivindicada neste relatório, foi desenvolvido com o intuito de suprir deficiências, amenizar dificuldades e solucionar problemas até então encontrados pelos usuários do setor da saúde, mais precisamente, medicina em geral e na odontologia, podendo ser utilizado também para os profissionais que trabalham com estética facial fazendo limpeza de pele, sobrancelhas e maquiadores, etc...1. INTRODUCTION:

FUNCTIONALITY:

11. O protetor odontológico (1) será utilizado com a função de criar uma barreira física entre o profissional de saúde que precisa trabalhar com uma proximidade muito grande do paciente. 18. Os equipamentos desenvolvidos para proteção dos profissionais são de âmbito de EPIs. São máscaras, óculos, gorros, escudos faciais, jalecos etc... Todos os EPIs tem o inconveniente de serem desconfortáveis durante o uso e formarem uma barreira, ao material de contaminação, numa proximidade muito grande com o profissional. Em alguns casos a milímetros como no caso das máscaras que são o principal EPI. Consequentemente, os EPIs ficam muito contaminados e apresentam um grande risco de contaminação durante o manuseio e troca desses EPIs.18. DESCRIPTION OF THE STATE OF THE TECHNIQUE:

22. Durante o desenvolvimento do referido equipamento, foram realizadas inúmeras pesquisas para identificar a existência de eventuais anterioridades ou equipamentos afins. Tais levantamentos, contudo, não apontaram a existência de nenhum outro equipamento com as mesmas características técnicas preponderantes ou funcionais.22.
