Abstract

A invenção diz respeito a um método para operar um veículo a motor (10) com uma bateria de tração (14) para acionamento do veículo a motor (10) e um dispositivo de recuperação (12) para carregamento da bateria de tração (14) por recuperação de energia. O método compreende prover um modo de recuperação do dispositivo de recuperação (12) para carregamento da bateria de tração (14) e prover um modo de rodagem livre do veículo a motor (10) sem recuperação do dispositivo de recuperação (12). O método compreende selecionar um modo de operação do veículo a motor (10) dentre o modo de rodagem livre e o modo de recuperação em função de um balanço energético e/ou exergético do veículo a motor (10) e operar o veículo a motor (10) no modo de operação selecionado.
