Technical Field [001] The present invention relates to a cutting device with clamps for moving the material to be cut.

[002] More specifically, the present invention relates to an apparatus as defined above, in which the material to be cut is moved along the work table by means of at least one pair of opposite locking side clips.

Foundations of the Invention [003] It is known that in the field of industrial production of leather articles in general, footwear and other products, specific machines are used that act on the raw material consisting of hides, leather, synthetic materials, papers, textiles technical and similar in laminar format, such as the many processes for obtaining semi-finished products for later assembly and finishing. The cutting operation is the basis of the production process, being carried out on special machines or CNC cutting tables; the working table of these machines, on which a movable strip of synthetic material is wrapped, can be specially extended to accommodate entire skins, being overlapped by at least one beam that extends transversely and which supports one or more cutting heads. The shaving heads are usually moved based on electronic programming, which imposes programmed paths to follow the formats to be obtained, identified in the material by means of projection equipment.

[004] The material from which semi-finished products are manufactured by means of the cut made by the cutting heads, can be unwound from a reel, as in the case of synthetic materials or paper; means of temporary stabilization and for moving the material along the movable tape of the worktable are provided. As the spool unwinds, the material advances progressively by a predetermined amount, being moved to the work area in which the shaving heads operate. 2/8 is particularly suitable for cutting unrolled synthetic material from a reel and, thanks to the means that temporarily stabilize the aforementioned material on the work table, it also allows several stacked layers of material, from different coils, to be cut. The said means of temporary stabilization of the material consists of two pairs of clips, each of which is formed by two overlapping bars that extend transversely over the entire width of the movable strip; the lower bar is placed under the movable tape and forms the backrest for the upper part that rests on the material and compresses it; the latter is blocked by a clamp in the lowered position of the aforementioned upper bar, acting in conjunction with the lower one.

[005] However, this solution is inappropriate when delicate and valuable skin is spread on the work table, which can be easily damaged or, at least, irreparably marked in certain areas due to the compression exerted by the upper bar. Although the cutting apparatus is equipped with a work table connected to a suction device, which stabilizes the skin on the moving tape, during the cutting operations small accidental movements can occur that affect the mentioned tape and, consequently, the material spread on the same; these accidental movements can occur during the movement of the tape in the direction of the cutting area, when the suction is or must be reduced or absent. This results in a change in the programmed cutting parameters and can lead to losses caused by waste in production or by interrupting the production cycle.

Description of the Invention [006] The purpose of the present invention is to avoid the above mentioned disadvantages.

[007] More specifically, the objective of the present invention is to reveal a cutting apparatus that allows the mobile tape to be moved temporarily and effectively, advancing it to a predetermined extent.

[008] Another objective of the present invention is to reveal a cutting device that, if necessary, is able to stabilize at the same time, in

[009] Another objective of the present invention is to reveal a cutting apparatus in which the aforementioned means used to carry out the movement of the movable tape can also be easily applied to the previous cutting apparatus, comprising clamping clips consisting of pairs of overlapping bars suitable to act on synthetic materials.

[010] Another objective of the present invention is to provide users with a cutting device with clamps to move the tape that carries the material to be cut, suitable to ensure a high level of resistance and reliability over time, in addition to being produced easily and economically.

[011] These and still other objectives are achieved by the cutting apparatus of the present invention according to claim 1.

Detailed Description of the Invention [013] With initial reference to Figure 1, the cutting apparatus of the present invention, indicated globally by the reference number (10), comprises a structure (12) that supports a work table (14) on which at least one moving tape (16) is wound; the aforementioned tape is returned to the opposite ends on conventional rolls, one of which is diagrammed as an example with the reference number (18) in Figure 3. The work table (14) is overlapped by a beam (20) to which at least one cutting head (22) is coupled and along which it moves; a rear crossbar (24) or equivalent supports possible projection means (24 ') of the shapes onto the material to be cut, spread over the aforementioned work table and diagrammed with the reference number (26) in Figure 3.

[014] According to the present invention, there are arranged, close to the opposite side edges of the work table (14) and the overlapping tape (16), the respective paired columns (28) and / or (28 '), each one of which constitutes a support for one of the clips transporting the tape carrying the material, illustrated in detail in Figure 2 according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention. In the first case, the skin (26) is already stabilized on the tape (16), permeable to air, due to the effect of the known suction device combined with the apparatus 10; therefore, the locking clip affects only the opposite parts of the edge of said tape, in such a way that it is moved in predetermined steps. For this purpose, as can be seen particularly in Figure 3, the work table (14) defines a cavity (40) in which the means themselves known are located, described in the aforementioned European patent, designed for synchronized advancement and collecting the columns (28) and (28 '), which support the pneumatic actuators (32) with the relative plates (36).

[016] Even in cases where only the stabilization of the tape (16) during the cutting operations is necessary or adequate, the locking clamp is especially effective and does not involve the skin, since the plates (36) touch only one fraction of the opposite edges of the tape.

[017] In any case, when an additional blockage of the skin becomes necessary, in addition to the blockage accomplished by the aspiration of air through the permeable tape (16), the plates (36) compress in any way only a small area of the material ; the resulting damage to the skin is therefore insignificant, against the absolute guarantee of its stabilization and the underlying tape. However, this would not be possible if the clips were made up of the aforementioned bars, which extend over the entire width of the moving tape.

6/8 [018] In Figures 3 and 4, the pneumatic actuators (32) and the relative plates (36) designed to marginally compress the tape (16) are limited, for example, to the opposite ends of one of the bars that extend transversely, described in the aforementioned patent EP 2 022 741 B1, diagrammed as number (42); this preferred mode of execution is particularly advantageous in that it allows a cutting device (10) to be produced with the double possibility of:

- working with non-perishable synthetic materials, using the traditional staples formed by one or more pairs of the aforementioned bars (42) that extend transversely along the ribbon (16);

- work with perishable materials such as skins or certain types of leather, alternatively using the clamps formed by the plates (36) moved by the pneumatic actuators (32) and fixed to the arms (30), or directly to the bar (42) located above the tape (16).

[019] In fact, if a synthetic material or, in any case, a material that does not deteriorate as a result of the compression is spread over the tape (16), the descent of the bar (42) that extends across will happen while maintaining the plate (36) in an elevated position, in such a way that it does not touch the aforementioned tape; cutting operations therefore follow the traditional operational steps in relation to the forward movement and the blocking of the synthetic material, by means of movement, according to the sequences themselves known, of at least one clamp, consisting of a pair of superimposed bars (42), which extend transversely and which are placed one above and one below the tape (16).

[020] If, instead, a delicate material or skin is spread over the tape (16), which could be the result of its compression over a wide area, as would happen if the upper bar (42) extending transversely to act on it, the said bar will remain in the raised position, while the plates (36) lowered by the pneumatic actuator (32) limited to the mentioned bar, will descend and touch a marginal portion of the edge of the said tape (16), to move it according to

[021] The cutting apparatus (10) of the present invention may comprise one or two pairs of opposing paired columns (27, 28 '), for the same number of pairs of clips for blocking and transporting the material; these clips can be attached to the respective arms (30), as shown in Figures 1 and 2, or attached to the bars (42) that extend transversely, as shown in Figures 3 and 4.

[022] As can be seen from the previous description, the advantages that the present invention provides are evident.

[023] The cutting device with staples for moving the tape on which the material to be cut is placed according to the present invention, makes it possible to temporarily and effectively stabilize only the movable tape (16), on both sides even when cutting materials. high quality and delicate products, such as hides, are spread over it, without the latter being damaged by the means used to achieve such stabilization. When necessary, this equipment is, in any case, capable of stabilizing the mobile tape, along with a marginal portion of the skin or any material spread on it at the same time and on both sides, in this case, of course, the skin must have a certain size that reaches, once spread on the tape (16), one or more of the plates (36) in such a way as to be intercepted and compressed by them along marginal portions, according to what was specified above . This process also avoids the possibility of accidental movements transmitted by the tape (16) to the material spread over it and which can lead to changes in the cutting parameters. The possibility of combining pneumatic actuators (32) that move the relative plates (36) designed to compress the strip (16) and at least one bar (42), forming part of the locking clamp that extends transversely above the mentioned strip and used in the synthetic material cutting apparatus, it is particularly advantageous.
