dispositivo de comunicação para um veículo ferroviário e veículo ferroviário.a presente invenção trata de um dispositivo de comunicação (5) para um veículo ferroviário (1 o), do tipo que compreende um módulo de comunicação (30) sem fio para se comunicar com uma baliza de controle (15) em pelo menos uma faixa espectral de comunicação (75, 80) de uma faixa espectral subdividida em vários canais (ch1, ch6, ch11) predeterminados, e o referido dispositivo de comunicação (5) comporta, ainda, um módulo de proteção (35) ligado a uma antena de proteção (40), o qual módulo de proteção (35) é próprio para gerar sinais em pelo menos um dos canais (ch1, ch11) predeterminados que cobrem pelo menos em parte a ou cada faixa espectral de comunicação (75, 80) e a antena de proteção (40) é própria para irradiar os sinais gerados em direção de pelo menos um carro (27, 45) do referido veículo ferroviário (1 o). a presente invenção se aplica ao campo da segurança ferroviária e mais particularmente, porém não exclusivamente, à segurança dos transportes metropolitanos.
