Abstract

EQUIPAMENTO COM TURBINA EÓLICA DE ROTOR VERTICAL PARA ACIONAMENTO DE GERADORES DE ENERGIA ELÉTRICA - Patente de invenção para um equipamento destinado ao acionamento de geradores de energia elétrica, provido de uma turbina eólica com rotor na posição vertical e impulsores com formato de velames. A concepção deste equipamento foi orientada pelo movimento da impulsão que as massas de ar em deslocamento exercem sobre os impulsores, girando-os em torno de um eixo, como em um cata-vento. O equipamento capta a energia eólica e a converte em energia mecânica. A rotação originada da impulsão do rotor da turbina aciona o rotor do conjunto gerador, localizado na base do equipamento. Os impulsores são formados por duas velas geminadas (53-57) com abas (71), estrutura tubular (21-25-30-32-35) e cabos (39), formando velames rígidos. O rotor da turbina é montado em uma torre tubular (9-1--11), fixada sobre o alojamento (1-2-3-4) do conjunto gerador (5). Seguiu-se o objetivo para que este equipamento tivesse a menor quantidade possível de componentes, sendo simples de projetar, fabricar, montar, operar e manter, para diversas capacidades e necessidades de geração de energia, e de baixo custo final. Este equipamento pode ser aplicado no acionamento de bombas, moinhos e outros equipamentos.VERTICAL ROTOR WIND TURBINE EQUIPMENT FOR DRIVING ELECTRIC POWER GENERATORS - Patent for an equipment for the operation of electric power generators, provided with a vertical rotor wind turbine and canopy shaped impellers. The design of this equipment was driven by the movement of the thrust that the moving air masses exert on the impellers, rotating them about an axis, as in a weather vane. The equipment captures wind energy and converts it to mechanical energy. Rotation from the turbine rotor thrust drives the generator set rotor, located at the base of the equipment. The impellers are formed by two twin plugs (53-57) with tabs (71), tubular structure (21-25-30-32-35) and cables (39), forming rigid canopies. The turbine rotor is mounted on a tubular tower (9-1--11), fixed over the housing (1-2-3-4) of the generator set (5). The objective was to ensure that this equipment had as few components as possible, being simple to design, manufacture, assemble, operate and maintain for a variety of power generation capacities and needs, and with low final cost. This equipment can be applied to drive pumps, mills and other equipment.
