"CABO DE FIBRA OPTICA é descrito um cabo de fibra óptica possuindo um diâmetro altamente reduzido. O cabo compreende: um elemento de resistência central (2); um número de tubos (3) contendo fibras ópticas (4) arranjadas livremente, cada tubo (3) tendo uma espessura, cada fibra óptica possuindo um revestimento; e um invólucro externo (6), onde o coeficiente de preenchimento de fibras ópticas em pelo menos um tubo livre é <242>45%; os tubos compreendem um material possuindo um módulo de elasticidade <242>700 MPa; e as fibras ópticas são fibras MS-R possuindo uma sensibilidade a microcurvatura <243>4,0 dB.km¬ -1¬/g.mm¬ -1¬ em uma faixa de temperatura de cerca de -30<198> C a +60<198> C a cerca de 1550 nm.
