Abstract

"MéTODO PARA OPERAR UM CONVERSOR DE FREQüENCIA DE UM GERADOR". O método descreve a operação de um conversor de freqüência de um gerador, em particular de uma turbina de energia, no caso de uma queda substancial na tensão da grade, sendo que o conversor de freqüência (10) compreende um conversor AC/DC (20) a ser conectado ao gerador (14), um conversor DC/AC (22) a ser conectado à grade de tensão (18), e um circuito de ligação DC (24) para conectar o conversor AC/DC (20) ao conversor DC/AC (22). O método compreende as etapas de reduzir a tensão de saída do circuito de ligação DC (24) para aumentar a corrente de saída do conversor DC/AC (22) e/ou reduzir a freqüência operacional das chaves eletrónicas (28) do conversor DC/AC (22) para aumentar a corrente de saída do conversor DC/AC (22).
