Abstract

"FIBRAS DE POLPA AMINO-FUNCIONALIZADAS". A invenção descrita é voltada a fibras de polpa adequadas para a formação de produto de papel depositado no estado úmido que inclui uma funcionalidade amino que é não extraível em uma fase aquosa. As fibras de polpa podem ser preparadas aplicando-se (35a, 35b, 35c) um aditivo amino-funcional a uma trama fibrosa (33, 36) antes da operação de acabamento em uma usina de polpa. A trama fibrosa (33, 36) pode então ser novamente reduzida à polpa em uma máquina para a fabricação de papel (38) para formar uma trama de papel (64) que inclui as fibras amino-funcionalizadas da presente invenção. Uma trama de papel formada das fibras amino-funcionalizadas pode apresentar uma reatividade especifica e/ou melhorada em relação a determinados aditivos para a fabricação de papel. As tramas de papel da invenção descrita pode, por exemplo, apresentar aumentos de resistência à tração no estado seco de mais de 40% quando tratadas com um agente de resistência permanente no estado úmido tal como um agente de resistência no estado úmido de poliamina epicloridrina, ao passo que uma trama de papel que não inclui as fibras amino-funcionalizadas da presente invenção pode apresentar um aumento inferior a 20% nas propriedades de resistência quando tratada com os mesmos agentes de resistência.
