No caso deste dispositivo para a indicação (10) de forças de tensão prévia em meios de tração (7) como, por exemplo, cintas de reforço de ou cabos de reforço, sendo que a mola inclui o pino de tração (3), que está disposto no laço da cinta de reforço e, no caso de forças pequenas, descreve um trajeto (6), que pode ser bem-reconhecido a olho nu. A combinação de duas partes, que se diferenciam na forma, possibilita à mola (1) manter a forma e a constante de mola. Com isso, é obtido que a força de tensão prévia seja indicada imediatamente através da combinação, mas com tensões de tração muito altas, a mola não é carregada adicionalmente, mas é protegida com fecho devido à forma.
