Abstract

"MéTODO PARA ESTIMATIVA DINâMICA RáPIDA DO RUìDO DE FUNDO". A invenção fornece um método e sistema para estimar dinamicamente o ruído de fundo. O sistema inclui um dispositivo de comunicação portátil, um codificador de voz (vocoder) e um detector ativado por voz. Com base em informação recebida pelo dispositivo de comunicação portátil, o codificador de voz determina parâmetros relacionados à informação de entrada, que inclui um modo de voz indicativo da periodicidade da informação de entrada. O detector ativado por voz então compara o modo de voz a um limite para determinar se uma estimativa de ruído de fundo deve ser atualizada. O método inclui as etapas de: receber um indicador de periodicidade e um nível de ruído de conforto atual para um quadro de voz de entrada; comparar o indicador de periodicidade com um limite predeterminado se o atual nível de ruído de conforto é igual a um nível anterior de ruído de conforto; e manter a estimativa de ruído de fundo se o indicador de periodicidade exceder o limite predeterminado e revisar a estimativa de ruído de fundo se o indicador de periodicidade não exceder o limite predeterminado.
