Abstract

"MéTODO E EQUIPAMENTO PARA ESTIMAR POTêNCIA REQUERIDA PARA TRANSMISSãO DE DADOS EM UMA TAXA EM UM SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçãO". Métodos e equipamento para estimar a taxa de dados máxima e para estimar a potência de transmissão requerida para a transmissão de um dado com uma taxa de dados em um sistema de comunicação são descritos. Um terminal determina a métrica de qualidade de um link de comunicação, através do qual dados serão transmitidos, e modifica a métrica de qualidade determinada por uma margem de métrica de qualidade. O terminal em seguida estima a taxa de dados máxima de acordo com a métrica de qualidade modificada. Alternativamente, o terminal em seguida estima a potência de transmissão requerida para a transmissão de um dado com uma taxa de dados de acordo com a taxa de dados e a métrica de qualidade modificada. A margem de métrica de qualidade pode ser predeterminada ou ajustada dinamicamente.
