Abstract

"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA INTERMEDIAçãO ENTRE PROVEDORES DE SERVIçOS E USUáRIOS DE SERVIçOS". Aparelho de intermediação (12) é projetado para interligar pelo menos um provedor de serviços (SP) e pelo menos um usuário (U) através da utilização de um canal não-Internet (NIC). O aparelho compreende: meios de gerenciamento de conexão inteligente (26) para reconhecimento de um protocolo de entrada e para selecionar um protocolo de saída e um canal de comunicação de entrada através de referência às bases de dados (20, 22) ; e meios de conversão de protocolos (24) controlados pelos meios de gerenciamento (26) de modo a interligar um provedor de serviços (SP) usando um canal que implementa um primeiro protocolo de comunicação e um usuário (U), usando o canal não-Internet (NIC) que implementa um segundo protocolo de comunicação. O canal não-Internet (NIC) é, vantajosamente, um canal de comunicação sem fio.
