Abstract
"BATERIA ALCALINA". Uma bateria alcalina alongada plana que compreende um alojamento de metal externo e uma pluralidade de células alcalinas individuais alojada nele. O alojamento externo possui pelo menos uma superfície principal que é um polígono chato. Preferivelmente o alojamento de metal externo é um cubóide. As células individuais compreendem uma chapa do anodo compreendendo zinco, chapa do catodo compreendendo dióxido de manganês e separador entre eles. Cada células é formada mediante o empilhamento do anodo, separador e catodo corpo a corpo. Cada células possui pelo menos uma superfície que é poligonal. As células individuais são preferivelmente alinhadas em uma fila borda a borda para formar uma embalagem de células tendo a mesma espessura como a espessura de uma célula individual. A embalagem de células é inserida em um recipiente plástico permeável a hidrogênio comum e revestido com ele. As células revestidas no recipiente de plástico são alojadas dentro do interior do invólucro externo de metal. As células são eletricamente conectadas em paralelo aos terminais positivo e negativo da bateria. Em uma modalidade alternativa a bateria alcalina alongada plana compreende apenas uma única célula alcalina revestida dentro de um recipiente plástico permeável de hidrogênio que é alojado dentro do interior de um alojamento de metal. O alojamento de metal externo é preferivelmente um cubóide.
