Abstract

"ACOPLAMENTO FLEXìVEL E MéTODO PARA FABRICAR O MESMO". Um acoplamento flexível (10) é provido para conectar um flange (17) em um eixo de acionamento a um flange (19) em um eixo acionado. Dispositivos de fixação (12A - 12F) circunferencialmente espaçados provêm orifícios através do acoplamento, através dos quais parafusos (16A - 16F) podem ser passados para conectá-lo alternativamente a um flange e então ao outro flange (17, 19). Dispositivos de fixação adjacentes (12A - 12F) são interconectados por conexões (13A - 13E) e arruelas (14A, 14B) são posicionadas em extremidades opostas da pilha de conexões, em cada dispositivo de fixação. De acordo com a invenção, as arruelas (14A, 14B) são formadas com fendas periféricas (15A, 15B), as quais serão penetradas pelo material plástico formando o corpo (11) do acoplamento, travando assim as arruelas (14A, 14B) contra serem expelidas quando os parafusos (16A - 16f) são subseq³entemente passados através dos orifícios.
