Abstract
"EQUIPAMENTO E SISTEMA PARA MANTER TEMPO PRECISO EM UM AMBIENTE SEM FIO". De acordo com uma modalidade, um dispositivo de comunicação compreende um módulo de interface aérea que é temporalmente sincronizado com uma fonte do tempo universal tal como o Sistema de Posicionamento Global (<39>GPS<39>). O dispositivo de comunicação compreende também um servidor de tempo de rede que está sincronizado com a fonte de tempo universal. O dispositivo de comunicação compreende também um servidor de endereço configurado para prover um endereço do servidor de tempo de rede para uma CPU incluída no dispositivo de comunicação. A CPU está configurada para comunicar a hora (tempo) sincronizada para um computador de usuário. Como exemplo, o computador de usuário pode operar o protocolo de tempo de rede, NTP, para facilitar a atualização do clock do sistema do computador de usuário usando a hora sincronizada.
