Abstract

"SISTEMA E MéTODO PARA REALIZAR MODULAçãO DE AMPLITUDE EM QUADRATURA ATRAVéS DA COMBINAçãO DE CO-CONJUNTOS E IDENTIFICADORES DE CO-CONJUNTOS FORTEMENTE CODIFICADOS". Um método de codificar um fluxo de elementos de dados é fornecido que envolve subdividir o fluxo de elementos de dados em um primeiro fluxo e um segundo fluxo; codificar o primeiro fluxo para produzir um primeiro fluxo codificado; realizar o mapeamento de constelação utilizando uma combinação do primeiro fluxo codificado e do terceiro fluxo que tem por base o segundo fluxo. Isto poderá envolver definir uma constelação de sinal; definir uma pluralidade de co-conjuntos dentro da constelação tal que uma distância mínima entre os pontos de constelação dentro de cada co-conjunto é maior que uma distância mínima entre quaisquer pontos de constelação dentro da constelação de sinal; realizar o dito mapeamento de constelação ao utilizar o primeiro fluxo codificado para identificar uma seq³ência de co-conjuntos da dita pluralidade de co-conjuntos, e ao utilizar o terceiro fluxo para identificar uma seq³ência de pontos de constelação dentro dos respectivos co-conjuntos da seq³ência de co-conjuntos identificada pelo dito primeiro fluxo codificado.
