Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA DETERMINAR A POSIçãO DE UM ALVO". A presente invenção refere-se a um processo para determinar a posição de um alvo que compreende as etapas de: fornecer um transmissor ou uma pluralidade de transmissores para transmitir um sinal para o alvo, fornecer um receptor ou uma pluralidade de receptores para receber sinais refletidos a partir de dito alvo. Determinar o tempo de informação de chegada do dito sinal refletido no ou em cada receptor; utilizar informação relativa à posição do ou de cada receptor e/ou de cada transmissor e com a informação obtida determinar a posição do alvo. Preferivelmente o sinal inclui uma porção modulada ou codificada exclusiva do transmissor; e a dita porção de sinal está associada com cada transmissor particular em virtude da dita porção de sinal. O sinal pode ser uma transmissão de telefone móvel, DAB, TV digital, rádio digital ou transmissão digital de satélite.
