Abstract

"MUDANçA DE UMA VELOCIDADE DE PLAYBACK PARA UMA APRESENTAçãO DE VìDEO GRAVADO EM UM FORMATO DE ESTRUTURA DE QUADROS NãO PROGRESSIVOS". A presente invenção inclui um sistema e método para a mudança de uma velocidade de um segmento de vídeo selecionado tendo uma estrutura de quadros não progressivos que foi gravada em uma porção de um meio de armazenagem. Um segmento de vídeo selecionado pode ser modificado para uma velocidade de playback modificada e o segmento de vídeo modificado pode ser gravado exclusivamente na porção de um meio de armazenagem. Uma pluralidade de compactações de não vídeo no segmento de vídeo selecionado pode ser excluída de modo a reduzir a quantidade de dados contidos no segmento de vídeo modificado. O segmento de vídeo pode ser modificado por meio da decodificação dos quadros no segmento de vídeo, da recodificação de tais quadros em suas imagens de campo associadas, e da adição de pelo menos uma imagem de campo. De maneira alternativa, o segmento de vídeo pode ser modificado por meio da remoção de pelo menos um quadro ou imagem de campo contida no segmento de vídeo. Em ambas as disposições, o segmento de vídeo pode ser recodificado de modo a produzir um modo de truque mais aplainado e um melhor desempenho de playback.
