Abstract
"APARELHO E MéTODO PARA A CONEXãO DE UM TUBO ASCENDENTE ENTRE UM VASO FLUTUANTE E UMA ESTRUTURA SUBMARINA". São descritos um método e aparelho para a conexão de um tubo ascendente entre um vaso flutuante e uma estrutura submarina que reduz o tamanho dos tanques de ar utilizados e, deste modo, permite um posicionamento mais próximo das fendas de poço e uma redução geral no tamanho do vaso flutuante. O aparelho inclui um conector atuado hidraulicamente invertido posicionado sobre a estrutura submarina e orientado de modo a receber e se fixar de uma forma vedante a um membro de conexão de extremidade complementar na extremidade inferior do tubo ascendente.
