Abstract
"USOS DE HìBRIDOS DE MILHO BRANCO". A presente invenção refere-se a um híbrido de milho branco que produz grãos com novas características de composição tais como uma concentração mais alta de proteína no endosperma e níveis baixos de carotenóides. As mudanças na composição facilitam o uso de um processo aperfeiçoado para a moagem úmida do milho branco e melhora as características e a performance dos produtos derivados a partir dos mesmos. é descrito um farelo de glúten de milho com elevada proteína, quase livre de caroteno e um amido substancialmente puro que são extraídos a partir desse milho branco que tem um genótipo único, um fenótipo do grão único e vantagem no processo de moagem úmida.
