Abstract
"MéTODO PARA REDUZIR óXIDOS METáLICOS EM UM FORNO DE CUBA". é descrito um método para reduzir óxidos metálicos em um forno de cuba. Uma carga de óxido de metal, por exemplo, minério de ferro ou aglomerados, e um redutor, são reagidos no forno, de forma a produzir um metal primário do óxido de metal e um metal secundário adicional, tal como zinco. A temperatura do gás de saída proveniente da reação é controlada de forma a prevenir condensação do metal secundário, de maneira tal que ele permaneça no gás de saída para sua separação.
