Abstract

"PARTìCULA DISCRETA, ARTIGO ABRASIVO, E, MéTODOS DE PREPARAçãO DE UMA PARTìCULA DISCRETA E DE UM ARTIGO ABRASIVO". A presente invenção proporciona partículas discretas e métodos de preparação de partículas discretas, e artigos abrasivos possuindo projeções fixadas em uma sua superfície maior e métodos de preparação de tais artigos. As partículas discretas e os artigos abrasivos incluem uma pluralidade de grãos grossos e um material polimérico que inclui um produto de reação de componentes incluindo (a) um material epóxi-funcional, (b) pelo menos um de um anidrido cíclico ou um diácido derivado do mesmo, e opcionalmente (c) um (met)acrilato polifuncional. A invenção também proporciona artigos feitos de partículas discretas e métodos de preparação de tais artigos. Preferivelmente, os artigos são artigos abrasivos.
