Abstract
"MEIO DE MOAGEM DE AçO OU FERRO LINGOTADO COM ALTO TEOR DE CARBONO, E SEU PROCESSO DE FABRICAçãO". A presente invenção refere-se a bolas de aço ou de ferro lingotado com alto teor de carbono obtido pela atomização centrífuga em uma faixa de granulometria preferivelmente situada entre 3 mm e 12 mm, e com uma densidade aparente maior que 4,3 g/cm^ 3^ tornando-as adequadas para uso como meio de moagem para usinas de moagem de minério. A velocidade de rotação da mesa de centrifugação 12 pode ser ajustada entre 300 rpm e 1500 rpm. A taxa de resfriamento mínima na massa de uma bola é maior que 10<198>C/segundo e depende da altura de queda (h1) e da profundidade do tanque (h2).
