Abstract
"PLACA PINO INTRAMEDULAR PARA TRATAMENTO DE FRATURAS DOS OSSOS LONGOS". A presente invenção conjuga num mesmo implante as características de placa e haste intramedular, que possibilitam a fixação de fraturas em todo o comprimento axial dos ossos longos. O seu travamento ao osso pode ser feito sob visão direta nas duas extremidades o que diminui a quantidade de instrumental, tempo cirúrgico, exposição a radiação, podendo ser introduzida diretamente ou por fio guia. O dito implante é constituído por peça única com formato de placa laminar modelável no seu topo (7) e ponta (12) onde existem furos para travamento do implante ao osso ou fixação de fraturas. O desenho helicoidal (8) na transição para o segmento intermediário (10) aumenta sua resistência estrutural. As angulações em planos diferentes proporcionam melhor acomodação anatómica (2,5) principalmente no canal medular. Tem diâmetro decrescente no seu grande eixo o que facilita sua introdução e principalmente a retirada após a consolidação óssea."INTRAMEDULAR PIN PLATE FOR TREATMENT OF LONG BONE FRACTURE". The present invention combines in a single implant the characteristics of the intramedullary plate and nail, which make it possible to fix fractures along the entire axial length of the long bones. Its locking to the bone can be done under direct vision at both ends, which reduces the amount of instruments, surgical time, radiation exposure and can be introduced directly or by guide wire. Said implant consists of a single piece shaped as a laminar plate in its top (7) and tip (12) where there are holes for locking the implant to the bone or fixing fractures. The helical design (8) at the transition to the intermediate segment (10) increases its structural strength. Angles in different planes provide better anatomical accommodation (2,5) mainly in the medullary canal. It has decreasing diameter in its great axis which facilitates its introduction and mainly the removal after the bone consolidation.
