"1,2,4-TRIOXANOS SUBSTITUìDOS, úTEIS COMO AGENTES ANTIMALáRICOS, E UM PROCESSO PARA A PREPARAçãO DELES". A presente invenção refere-se a uma série inovadora de análogos de 1,2,4-trioxanos antimaláricos da fórmula genérica 7, onde R representa grupos ciclo-alquila selecionados entre os grupos que consistem de ciclo-pentila, ciclo-hexila, cicloheptila e ciclo-octila, ou grupos arila selecionados entre fenila, 4-bromo-fenila e 4-cloro-fenila, R~ 1~ e R~ 2~ representam hidrogênio, grupo alquila selecionado entre metila, etila, propila e decila, arila selecionada entre fenila ou partes de um sistema cíclico, tal como ciclo-pentano, ciclo-hexano, ciclo-hexano substituído, ciclo-heptano, biciclo (2.2.1)-heptano, adamantano, e a preparação deles; vários desses compostos inovadores apresentam atividade antimalárica promissora contra malária resistente a múltiplos medicamentos em camundongos."1,2,4-Substituted TRIOXANS, USEFUL AS ANTI-MALARIA AGENTS, AND A PROCESS FOR PREPARING THEM".
