Abstract

"SISTEMA E MéTODO PARA MELHORAR COM SEGURANçA SUPORTE LóGICO INALTERáVEL". Suporte lógico inalterável melhorado para um microcontrolador é criado e criptografado para construir um arquivo (116), que pode ser distribuído e instalado por técnicos no campo. A criptografação inclui criptografação em caracteres (210) dos dados, bem como um segundo nível de criptografação em blocos (216). Dentro do arquivo criptografado (116), as informações sobre o suporte lógico inalterável e o microcontrolador alvo (104) são incluídas. O arquivo de suporte lógico inalterável (116) distribuído é armazenado em um dispositivo portátil, tal como um PDA, que pode se comunicar com o microcontrolador alvo (104), para realizar uma transferência de suporte lógico inalterável do PDA (112) para o microcontrolador (104). O microcontrolador (104) inclui uma rotina de programação que recebe o fluxo de dados criptografado do PDA e descriptografa os dados antes do armazenamento da nova imagem do suporte lógico inalterável.
