Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA A REALIZAçãO DE UM HANDOFF ORIENTADO EM-QoS ENTRE UMA PRIMEIRA E UMA SEGUNDA TRAJETóRIA DE COMUNICAçãO BASEADA EM IP, SOBRETUDO MóVEL BASEADA EM IPv6, ENTRE UM Nó MóVEL (MN) E UM Nó CORRESPONDENTE (CN)". A presente invenção refere-se a um processo para a realização de um Handoff com orientação-QoS entre uma primeira e uma segunda trajetória de comunicação Mobile baseada em IP, sobretudo Mobile baseada em IPv6 entre um Mobile Node (MN) e um Correspondent Node (CN), onde a segunda trajetória de comunicação pertence a um número de trajetórias de comunicação com uma ou várias instâncias intermediárias accessíveis ao Mobile Node e onde o processo apresenta pelo menos as seguintes etapas: a seleção de uma trajetória de comunicação a partir do número de trajetórias de comunicação accessíveis ao Mobile Node, e que é designada por segunda trajetória de comunicação, b. geração de uma informação (BU) no Mobile Node, que contém pelo menos um endereço IP associado ao Mobile Node através da trajetória de comunicação escolhida e requisitos mínimos de qualidade de serviço (QoS) relativos à trajetória de comunicação escolhida, c. envio da informação ao longo da trajetória de comunicação escolhida entre o Mobile Node e o Correspondent Node, d. controlar e eventualmente assegurar o cumprimento dos requisitos mínimos de qualidade de serviços por intermédio da instâncias intermediárias a serem percorridas sucessivamente, onde a informação de requisitos mínimos de qualidade de serviços contém uma comunicação do Mobile Node para o Correspondent Node e/ou viceversa e onde é realizado automaticamente um Handoff entre a primeira e a segunda trajetória escolhida, no caso em que forem cumpridos os requisitos mínimos de qualidade de serviços ou então a informação é bloqueada e é gerada uma mensagem em uma instância intermediária que é enviada para o Mobile Node no caso em que não for dado cumprimento aos requisitos mínimos de qualidade de serviços, sendo em seguida escolhida uma trajetória alternativa a partir das trajetórias de comunicação alternativas accessíveis par ao Mobile Node a qual é escolhida como segunda trajetória de comunicação, sendo repetido o procedimento.
