Abstract

"MéTODO E EQUIPAMENTO PARA CODIFICAçãO DE FALA SEM VOZ". Uma técnica de codificação de baixa taxa de bits para segmentos sem voz de fala. Um conjunto de ganhos é derivado a partir de um sinal residual após branqueamento do sinal de fala por um filtro de predição linear. Tais ganhos são a seguir quantificados e aplicados a uma excitação esparsa gerada aleatoriamente. A excitação é filtrada e suas características espectrais são analisadas e comparadas às características espectrais do sinal residual original. Com base em tal análise, é escolhido um filtro para conformar as características espectrais da excitação para obter o desempenho ideal.
