Abstract

"ENSAIOS PARA IDENTIFICAR RECEPTORES TENDO ALTERAçõES EM SINALIZAçãO". A presente invenção fornece métodos de identificação de receptores tendo sinalização alterada. Em particular a presente invenção fornece um ensaio para a identificação de receptores tendo alterações em sinalização independente de ligando e dependente de ligando. Receptores tendo alterações em sinalização dependente de ligando que podem ser identificados no método inventivo incluem receptores e receptores hipossensíveis hipersensíveis tendo potência aumentada e diminuída. O método da invenção é também aplicável à identificação de receptores tendo alteração em atividade basal, por exemplo, receptores ou receptores constitutivamente ativos tendo mutações silenciosas. Outras aplicações incluem a identificação de receptores mutantes ou plomórficos tendo alterações em sinalização e receptores tendo uma resposta à droga alterada. Finalmente, os receptores identificados são úteis como instrumentos para a descoberta da droga.
