Abstract
"TRéPANO PARA PERFURAçãO ROTATIVA". A invenção refere-se a um trépano para perfuração rotativa para abrir um furo de sondagem em uma formação geológica, o trépano compreendendo um primeiro e um segundo disco cortador, cada disco cortador sendo orientado para rolar ao longo do furo do furo de sondagem durante a rotação do trépano e dessa maneira abrir respectivos primeiro e segundo cortes radialmente espaçados substancialmente circulares no fundo do furo de sondagem para que uma massa de material de rocha seja definida entre os ditos cortes. O segundo disco cortador é disposto para cortar no interior do fundo do furo de sondagem em um intervalo rotativo selecionado do trépano por trás do primeiro disco cortador e para cortar fora o corpo de material de rocha na direção do primeiro corte. Cada disco cortador inclui um conjunto de membros cortantes mutuamente espaçados dispostos para gerar durante um giro do trépano, uma correspondente série de seções cortadas a partir do corte gerado pelo disco cortador, e no qual os membros cortantes são distribuídos de forma que a série de seções cortadas geradas durante subseq³entes giros do trepano sejam escalonadas entre si.
