Abstract
"MéTODO PARA MONITORAR O PERFIL DE UMA TUBULAçãO SUBAQUáTICA, E, APARELHO DE SONAR PARA MONITORAR O PERFIL DE UMA TUBULAçãO". Um método para monitorar o perfil de uma tubulação subaquática estendendo-se entre uma embarcação de lançamento de tubo e o leito do mar compreende desdobrar aparelho de sonar de exploração de multifeixe a partir da embarcação; transmitir sinais acústicos do sonar; detectar sinais de retorno refletidos da tubulação. e processar os sinais de retorno para obter um modelo tridimensional da tubulação e determinar o ponto de toque da tubulação no leito do mar. Em modos de realização preferidos, o sonar é localizado sob a embarcação, sobre uma amara flexível a uma profundidade fora da zona de ruído de impulsor da embarcação. Aparelho de sonar adicional pode ser usado para monitorar o alcance e direção do sonar principal em relação à tubulação e sua distância acima do leito do mar.
