Abstract
"MéTODO E SISTEMA DE IDENTIFICAçãO DE PAR DE CABOS EM DUAS EXTREMIDADES". Um sistema de análise de sinal de acionamento e recepção de linha/tom, de duas extremidades, executa verificação de conexão de linha aplicando um sinal de teste de baixa amplitude, baixa distorção, a uma extremidade de um par de cabos sob teste e monitorando a resposta de um par de cabos da extremidade remota. A freq³ência do sinal de teste é da ordem de 110 Hz, o que evita freq³ências de sinal de energia CA doméstica e estrangeira e é espectralmente eq³idistante de seus harmónicos. Ela também evita freq³ências de toque de campainha para linhas POTS, e permanece seguramente abaixo do limite inferior de 350 Hz de sistemas de linha telefónicas POTS e outras. Em resposta a uma aplicação do sinal de teste de 110 Hz a segmentos de comunicação e de toque de um par de cabos em uma extremidade do feixe de cabos, a energia do componente de 110 Hz, bem como aquela das duas outras "espectralmente próximas" (ligeiramente mais alta em 112 Hz e ligeiramente mais baixa em 108 Hz), são medidas em um par de comunicação e de toque na extremidade afastada da instalação de cabos.
