Abstract

"PROCESSO DE PRODUçãO DE DIFUSORES CILìNDRICOS EM FIBRAS óPTICAS". A presente patente de invenção, refere-se a um processo de produção de difusores cilíndricos em fibras ópticas (figura 1) de maneira que após devidamente preparada (figura 2), emite luz lateralmente distribuída, de forma uniforme e homogênea (figuras 5 e 6). Por este processo, no qual consiste em adicionar elementos dispersores de luz - grãos de vidro ou pó de safira (8), a luz que caminha pelo "core"da fibra (6), ao atingir a parte difusora (7) devidamente preparada é refletida em várias direções (9), promovendo a homogeneização e a uniformidade distribuição da luz, utilizada em procedimentos médicos na terapia do câncer em situações endoscópicas ou externas.
