Abstract
"CONECTOR PARA FAZER UMA CONEXãO óPTICA SUBAQUáTICA OU EM UM AMBIENTE úMIDO". Conector para fazer uma conexão óptica subaquática ou em um ambiente úmido, o compreendendo primeira (2) e segunda (8) partes conectoras adaptadas para serem interencaixadas, a primeira parte conectora (2) tendo um primeiro elemento óptico (20) para estabelecimento de um acoplamento óptico com um segundo elemento óptico (80) da segunda parte conectora (8) quando as partes conectoras são interencaixadas, a primeira parte conectora tendo uma sonda (10) e a segunda parte conectora tendo uma câmara (108) contendo meios fluidos e sendo dotada de uma vedação definindo nela uma abertura, em que a sonda tem uma porção dianteira (200) para entrada na câmara da segunda parte contendo meios fluidos durante o interencaixe das partes conectoras, de modo que quando as partes conectoras são interencaixadas, a sonda proporciona um trajeto óptico entre a primeira parte conectora e a câmara da segunda parte conectora e passando na câmara da segunda parte coletora em uma inclinação em relação à direção axial e em que, durante o interencaixe das partes conectoras, a sonda desliza axialmente através da abertura em encaixe deslizante com a vedação e continua a assim fazer de modo que a porção dianteira da sonda avança na referida câmara contendo meios fluidos."CONNECTOR TO MAKE AN OPTICAL UNDERWATER CONNECTION OR IN A HUMID ENVIRONMENT". Connector for making an optical connection underwater or in a humid environment, comprising the first (2) and second (8) connector parts adapted to be interlocked, the first connector part (2) having a first optical element (20) to establish a optical coupling with a second optical element (80) of the second connector part (8) when the connector parts are interlocked, the first connector part having a probe (10) and the second connector part having a chamber (108) containing fluid media and being provided with a seal defining an opening therein, in which the probe has a front portion (200) for entry into the chamber of the second part containing fluid media during the interlocking of the connector parts, so that when the connector parts are interlocked, the probe provides an optical path between the first connector part and the chamber of the second connector part and passing the chamber of the second collecting part at an inclination in in relation to the axial direction and in which, during the interlocking of the connector parts, the probe slides axially through the sliding fit opening with the seal and continues to do so so that the front portion of the probe advances in said chamber containing fluid media.
