Abstract

"ABSORVENTE HIGIêNICO COM ABAS LATERAIS DURAS". Um absorvente higiênico tendo um corpo principal incluindo pelo menos três camadas funcionais sobrepostas, isto é, uma camada de confrontação com o corpo permeável ao fluido, uma camada absorvente e uma camada de confrontação com a roupa íntima impermeável ao líquido. O absorvente higiênico tem abas adaptadas para serem dobradas ao redor das bordas de uma roupa íntima de uma usuária. As abas são fisicamente associadas com lados longitudinais respectivos do corpo principal e são caracterizadas por uma rigidez suficiente para fazer com que os lados longitudinais dobrem para cima quando as abas são separadas para receber entre elas a porção de gancho da roupa íntima da usuária. Os lados longitudinais dobrados para cima formam barreiras erguidas para limitar a probabilidade de falha como resultado do vazamento lateral.
