Abstract

"AGULHA DE ELETRODO PARA TRATAMENTO DE TUMORES PARENQUIMATOSOS E USO DE FILAMENTO COM SEGMENTO TERMINAL PRé-FORMADO EM UMA AGULHA GUIA OCA". Agulha de eletrodo para o tratamento de tumores parenquimatosos por meio de hipertermia intersticial induzida por radiofreq³ência, compreendendo uma agulha guia oca (11) e um filamento ativo de radiofreq³ência (12) rosqueado na agulha conectável a um gerador de radiofreq³ência e capaz de movimentos axiais entre uma posição inativa, retraída na agulha, e uma posição ativa de projeção de um segmento terminal do filamento da extremidade distal da agulha, caracterizada pelo segmento terminal (13) do filamento ser formado para passar de um formato retilíneo, quando o filamento está na posição retraída na agulha, para um formato espiral quando o filamento está na posição ativa para frente.
