Abstract

"COLA - PDS". A presente patente refere-se a um produto usado em colagem interna de papéis. Sua adição se concretiza na massa minutos antes da formação da folha. Esse produto (COLA-PDS) tem a finalidade de retardar a absorção e difusão de líquidos nos papéis formados. As industrias papeleiras utilizam algumas colas com finalidades semelhantes, essas são: a cola de breu usada em sistema ácido e as colas importadas ASA e AKD em sistema neutro/alcalino. As colas são utilizadas na forma de emulsão. A cola desenvolvida nesta patente utiliza ácidos graxos extraídos do óleo de soja e é também utilizada na forma de emulsão. A cola constitui-se de três substâncias: ácidos graxos, amido e sulfato de alumínio. Associando-se essas três substâncias, na unidade de emulsificação, produz-se uma emulsão consistente de pequenas partículas de cola "PDS", para atuar em sistema de colagem.
