Abstract

"MéTODO APERFEIçOADO PARA UMA AUTENTICAçãO DE UM MóDULO DE IDENTIDADE DE ASSINATURA DE USUáRIO". Um método para aperfeiçoar um procedimento de Autenticação e Acordo Chave que impede móveis piratas de ganharem fraudulentamente acesso a um sistema de comunicação. O sistema de comunicações difunde periodicamente uma mensagem de interrogação de alteração solicitando que um aparelho móvel, que está atualmente validado para usar o sistema, se autentique ao sistema. O aparelho móvel calcula uma resposta de autenticação baseada em informações conhecidas apenas pelo sistema de comunicações e pelo USIM do aparelho móvel e transmite a referida resposta ao sistema de comunicações. O sistema de comunicações calcula também uma resposta de autenticação e compara a referida resposta com aquela recebida do aparelho móvel. Um aparelho móvel é autenticado pelo sistema de comunicações quando as duas respostas de autenticação forem iguais. Caso contrário, o aparelho móvel não ganha acesso ao sistema de comunicações.
