Abstract

"PROCESSO CONCORRENTE PARA DESCONVOLUçãO AUTODIDATA DE SINAIS DIGITAIS". O processo tem o objetivo de eliminar o problema de interferência intersimbólica em sinais digitais, problema este decorrente do efeito dispersivo de qualquer canal de transmissão prático. A solução para o problema de superposição de raios de propagação e sua variação dinâmica no canal de transmissão de um sistema digital será um dos maiores desafios para o avanço tecnológico desta área nos próximos anos. Em comunicações móveis esse fenómeno indesejado é caracterizado pelos parâmetros de delay spread, angle spread e Doppler spread, os quais determinam o nível e a dinâmica de superposição entre os símbolos do sistema, superposição esta que ocorre como conseq³ência da transmissão da informação através do canal, sendo que os aparelhos passíveis de terem a sua performance melhorada pelo uso do Processo Concorrente para Desconvolução Autodidata de Sinais Digitais inclui, mas não esgota: Processamento Espaço-Temporal (utilizado, por exemplo, em Antenas Inteligentes; Sensores Inteligentes, etc...), Sistemas de telecomunicações digitais em geral (telefonia celular, televisão digital, rádio digital, etc...); sistemas de telemetria, sistemas de sensoriamento remoto, sistemas de localização/medição geodésica (GPS, etc..), sistemas de auxílio à navegação, sistemas de prospecção sísmica por reflexão/refração de ondas, sistemas de armazenamento em meio magnético, sistemas de RADAR, sistemas de SONAR.
