Abstract

"GAXETA PARA SISTEMA DE FLUIDO PRESSURIZADO".Gaxeta para vedação entre os flanges em um sistema de fluidopressurizado. Uma abertura central é disposta dentro de umaperiferia interna da gaxeta, a periferia interna sendo curvada nadireção da abertura central. A pressão de fluido na periferia internaé reagida pela tensão da braçadeira na gaxeta. A periferia exteriorda gaxeta tem segmentos cóncavos entre os furos do prendedor;então, a área da gaxeta é substancialmente menor que a área dosflanges. Dessa maneira, a pressão de aperto exercida pelosflanges na gaxeta é aumentada.
