''DOCUMENTO E PROCESSO DE FORMAR UM DOCUMENTO''. é definida uma estrutura de segurança para fornecer uma medida de segurança contra a falsificação de documentos de valor e para transportar informação de forma táctil para um usuário. Em uma configuração, a estrutura de segurança é um laminado e inclui uma camada de base e duas camadas externas ligadas a faces opostas da camada de base. Cada camada externa inclui uma pluralidade de aberturas arranjadas em um padrão pré-selecionado. Cada abertura em conjunto com a porção da camada de base adjacente àquela abertura define uma cavidade. Cada cavidade e/ou padrão de cavidade são configuradas para transportar informação para um usuário por meio do sentido de tato do usuário. Um processo de formar o laminado é também divulgado. O processo inclui ligar as duas camadas externas à camada de base e formar as aberturas em duas folhas utilizando uma broca a laser.
