Abstract

"MéTODO PARA A PRODUçãO DE MATERIAIS COMPOSTOS". O método inclui a preparação do produto pré-impregnado, sua prensagem, endurecimento e carbonização e é caracterizado em que após a preparação do produto pré-impregnado, este é submetido a um tratamento térmico entre 70 <198>C e 1100 <198>C, é embebido com uma substância inerte que compreende uma carga e um aglutinante polimérico em uma quantidade maior do que o volume dos espaços vazios do fio de camada simples o qual é calculado por intermédio da fórmula [1], onde m~ n~ é a massa da substância inerte, d~ n~ é a densidade da substância inerte, a é o comprimento do produto pré-impregnado, b é a largura do produto pré-impregnado,h é a espessura do produto pré-impregnado,m~ pr~ é a massa do produto pré-impregnado e, d~ fib~ é a densidade da fibra, e é aquecida entre 160 <198>C e 200 <198>C sendo aplicada simultaneamente uma pressão entre 1 e 5 MPa. O método é útil para manufaturar materiais compostos com uma matriz que contém carbono e porosidade variável, por exemplo coletores de corrente de células de combustível com eletrodos agregados, eletrodos eletroquímicos porosos ou elementos filtrantes.
