Abstract

"MéTODO E EQUIPAMENTO PARA MODIFICAçãO DE TAXA DE TRANSMISSãO DE CANAIS DE COMUNICAçãO". O acesso a um sistema de acesso múltiplo de taxa variável é controlado com base em uma carga corrente. O nível de carga corrente é usado para determinar um ponto de ajuste (set point) de taxa de transmissão. O ponto de ajuste de taxa de transmissão pode incluir uma taxa de transmissão máxima e uma probabilidade de transmissão. O ponto de ajuste de taxa de transmissão é passado à unidade remota (100) que pode acessar o sistema. Uma unidade remota (100) com dados a enviar determina uma taxa de dados de transmissão desejada (106). Caso a taxa de dados de transmissão desejada seja igual ou maior que a taxa de dados de transmissão máxima, a unidade remota (100) transmite na taxa de dados de transmissão máxima com uma probabilidade igual à probabilidade de transmissão.
