Abstract
A laundry detergent composition comprises surfactant, builder, and optionally other non-bleach detergent ingredients, and also contains a low level of glucoheptonate, preferably in sodium salt form. The composition provides improved maintenance of colour fidelity, especially of white or light-coloured fabrics, on laundering.
