Abstract

"POLILACTIDAS NãO TRANçADOS BIODEGRADáVEIS COM PROPRIEDADES DE GERENCIAMENTO DE FLUIDO E PRODUTOS ABSORVENTES DESCARTáVEIS CONTENDO OS MESMOS". A biodegradable non-woven material and a disposable absorbent product with improved fluid control properties. The non-woven material can be produced using thermoplastic compositions that comprise a non-reactive mixture of a poly (lactic acid) polymer; a polybutylene succinate polymer or a polybutylene succinate adipate polymer or a mixture of such polymers and a wetting agent. The thermoplastic composition exhibits substantial biodegradable properties, although it is easily processed. Biodegradable non-woven materials can be used in a disposable absorbent product designed to absorb fluids such as body fluids.
