Abstract

"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA DETECTAR FRAMES DE TAXA ZERO EM UM SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçõES". Técnicas para a detecção de frames de taxa zero em uma transmissão de dados recebida. Um sinal modulado é recebido e demodulado, de acordo com um formato de demodulação particular, para gerar símbolos demodulados. Os símbolos demodulados são particionados em inúmeros frames recebidos. Para cada frame recebido, uma medição de qualidade é computada e comparada contra um valor limiar. O valor limiar é selecionado com base, em parte, nas medições de qualidade dos frames recebidos. Com base no resultado da comparação, o frame recebido é indicado como sendo ou transmitido e recebido com erro (isto é, apagado ou ruim) ou não transmitido absolutamente (isto é, de taxa zero ou vazio) . A medição de qualidade pode se relacionar com uma energia de um frame recebido, com uma distância entre um frame recebido e uma palavra código correspondendo ao frame recebido ou com outras medições. O valor limiar pode ser selecionado com base nas medições de qualidade computadas para frames decodificados ou frames recebidos identificados como bons, e pode ser ajustado dinamicamente com base em informação corrente disponível no receptor. O método é vantajosamente usado em um sistema de comunicações CDMA (100).
