Abstract

"MéTODOS PARA PRODUçãO DE ESTERES E áCIDOS CARBOXìLICOS A PARTIR DE REAGENTES 5 E, PARA PRODUçãO DE áCIDO ACéTICO, ACETATO DE METILA OU UMA MISTURA DOS MESMOS". Um método para produção de ésteres e ácidos carboxílicos a partir de alquil álcoois inferiores, éteres, ésteres e misturas reagentes de éster - álcool e inclui a etapa do contato de uma mistura em vapor dos reagentes, monóxido de carbono e um haleto com um catalisador suportado sob condições de carbonilação em fase vapor. O catalisador inclui irídio e um segundo metal selecionado do grupo 5 de metais (vanádio, nióbio, tântalo) da tabela periódica de elementos. Desejavelmente, o irídio e o metal secundário são depositados sobre carvão ativado como material suporte. Em um aspecto preferido da invenção, o processo de carbonilação em fase vapor é útil para preparação de ácido acético, acetato de metila ou uma mistura dos mesmos.
