Uma transmissão de engrenagem planetária possui dois ou mais conjuntos de engrenagem planetária (2a, 2b, 2c e 2d) no trem de engrenagem. Cada conjunto de engrenagem planetária compreende uma engrenagem solar (1) montada em um eixo solar (5) com a engrenagem solar (1) engatando uma pluralidade de engrenagens planeta (2) montadas em um transportador planeta (4) com a pluralidade de engrenagens planeta (2) engatando uma engrenagem anular (3) montada no alojamento de transmissão (7). Cada engrenagem da transmissão de engrenagem planetária é uma engrenagem de corte helicoidal. As engrenagens solares (1a, 1b, 1c e 1d) e/ou engrenagens anulares (3a, 3b, 3c e 3d) são montadas para realizar o movimento axial com relação à transmissão. Desequilíbrios de impulsão nas engrenagens solares (1a, 1b, 1c e 1d) e/ou engrenagens anulares (3a, 3b, 3c e 3d) resultantes de um carregamento desigual e corte helicoidal resulta em engrenagens solares (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d) e/ou engrenagens anulares (3a, 3b, 3c e 3d) que se movem na direção axial e eliminam os desequilíbrios de impulsão e dessa forma resulta em um carregamento igual ou uma partilha de energia entre os conjuntos de engrenagem planetária (2a, 2b, 2c e 2d)."GEAR TO SHARE ENERGY IN PLANETARY TRANSMISSION".
