Abstract

Um método para controlar corrosão de metais, tais como aço inoxidável, em contato com um sistema aquoso o qual compreende introduzindo em dito sistema pelo menos um compostos de tetrazólio de fórmula (I) onde R~ 1~, R~ 2~ e R~ 3~ são selecionados do grupo consistindo de alquil inferior, alquil, aril, aril substituído, alquilaril, alquilaril substituído e aril substituído heterocíclico inferiores ramificados, com a condição que nem R~ 1~, R~ 2~, ou R~ 3~ contém mais do que 14 átomos de carbono; e n é 1 ou 2, tal compostos de tetrazólio optativamente tendo espécies iónicas solúveis em água associadas se necessário para obter uma carga neutra.Invention Patent: "METHOD AND COMPOSITION TO INHIBIT CORROSION IN AQUEOUS SYSTEMS".
